Oh boy, the day finally came! Some wait six months for Christmas to open their favorite present, but WWE fans had to endure six months to see their favorite internet meme become reality, when Veer Mahaan made his much-anticipated return to Raw.

Formerly part of Jinder Mahal’s group, Veer found himself drafted to Raw alone last fall. Vignettes touted his imminent arrival, but he was forever locked into a “Veer is coming” theme. The videos became memes, and the jokes were fast and furious.

Finally, Veer showed up Monday night, attacking both Dominik and Rey Mysterio, laying both men out. The former professional baseball player looked to be in great shape and got a great reaction, so clearly they should be putting him over Roman Reigns on SmackDown, right?

Seriously though, this was as good a night one as you could get for Mahaan, but how week two goes will determine if this is a success or just a post-WrestleMania reaction.
