5 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Feb 7)

3. Double Contract Signing

The alliance between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James has led to two separate matches at Elimination Chamber - James versus Becky Lynch, and Bliss defending the Smackdown Women's Championship against Naomi. As such, a double contract signing featuring all four women was put on Smackdown at the top of the hour.

This was a mixed bag - and might have been better with some more interplay - but was still enjoyable. Basically, each woman spoke in succession. First was James, who was droning and boring. Then came Becky, who was fiery and entertaining. Then came Bliss, who was dismissive in a way that didn't really help the angle. Finally, Naomi finished, and she closed the segment on a high note.

She also mentioned that WrestleMania is in her hometown, and she'd love to walk in as Smackdown Women's Champion. I don't see the title changing on Sunday, but it would be great if they built up to a WrestleMania rematch and had her win there.
