5. Ups - The Champ Is Here

It doesn't matter if Samoa Joe is in NXT or WWE - he's one of the most talented, authentic superstars on the entire roster. There's almost nobody in U.S. wrestling who plays his or her role as believably as Joe, and he exudes a bad-!*$% attitude every time he's on camera.

The opening of this week's broadcast was no different, as Joe strutted out to the ring with his championship belt on his shoulder. He then began to cut a promo about how he was a man of his word, and that falling to him was inevitable for any who challenged him.

Joe was eventually interrupted by Eric Young, which didn't go as well, but the solo part of his promo was excellent. The same writers who script the terrible promos on NXT undoubtedly wrote Joe's as well, but the NXT Champion's promo delivery is (and always has been) so masterful that he can make the simplest, tritest phrases feel like harbingers of doom.
