5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (July 14)

2. Predictably Awesome Main Event

Kevin Owens Seth Rollins Sami Zayn

Even though SmackDown is set to become more than a mere complement to what happens on Raw, it makes sense to believe this won't be the last tag-team main event on the show. However, to close the era of taped programming this way was a wonderful way to go out.

At first, Dean Ambrose was supposed to take on Kevin Owens, but this turned into a tag match also involving Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn. Naturally, Ambrose and Zayn teamed together to fend off the heels. Going almost 15 minutes, it's impossible to ever imagine such a combination not producing a good match.

Owens once again stuck it to his former best friend, pulling Rollins out of harms way and sending Zayn crashing into the corner. This allowed Seth to hit him with a Pedigree for the win, keeping him looking strong too. Again, there's no way this quartet could deliver anything but magic.
