5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE RAW (Best Of 2022)

Downs...

3. A Strange Highlight

Not to knock her too hard, but Liv Morgan was an awfully odd choice for a standout highlight segment during the 2022 retrospective.

Morgan is deserving of praise for her dedication and work during the past year, but her Money in the Bank win, cash-in and subsequent SmackDown Women’s Championship reign were hardly highlights for the year, certainly not something garnering a standalone segment of the show.

Liv was the babyface who challenged an injured babyface champion, retained on a fluke, and boasted about both wins – she even did so again during an interview Monday! WWE isn’t going to build the women’s division around her, so why give her this spotlight?

Again, this isn’t to say she shouldn’t be featured at all, but it was a really strange choice for a show called “the absolute best of 2022.”
