If you were trying to figure out a part of Drew McIntyre’s 2022 to highlight and what to avoid, in which pile would you place his feud with Karrion Kross?

WWE apparently would like you to remember it – and Scarlett’s use of mace twice and the “race” to the exit in their steel cage match – as part of its “absolute best” of the year. Spoiler: This feud most certainly was not one of the best things, nor was it something that would make most people’s highlight reel.

Kross’ return hasn’t been some horrendous mistake, but it hasn’t done him any favors or cast him in a purely positive light. And his matches with McIntyre weren’t exactly the kind of thing you’d choose to call attention to.
