5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE RAW (Best Of 2022)

1. No Rhyme Or Reason

If you can figure out the pattern or reasoning for the order of the highlights Monday night, you’re either better than this writer or your brain just works differently.

The best of 2022 special jumped all over the place, hopping from Brock Lesnar lifting the ring at SummerSlam, to “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s return at WrestleMania 38, to New Day’s rivalry with the Usos this fall, back to Bianca Belair beating Becky Lynch at Mania, to Clash at the Castle… and so forth. Cody Rhodes’ return – also at WrestleMania – preceded the Liv Morgan segment.

You’d be forgiven if you developed whiplash at the order of things. Throw in the sometimes groan-inducing “banter” between Corey Graves and Jackie Redmond and you find yourself wishing they had just let Kayla Braxton do a straight, solo hosting job.
