5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 26)

1. Brock The Samoan Killer

When he’s dialed in, Brock Lesnar is phenomenal at being an unstoppable monster.

The Beast Incarnate ran through an already-injured Roman Reigns Monday night, bashing him with steel steps, waffling him with a chair and hitting an F-5 onto the steps. He absorbed an attack from Roman before countering a Superman Punch with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, making it pretty much a one-sided affair.

It was a reminder of their WrestleMania 31 encounter, when Brock beat the hell out of Roman and Reigns kept coming, earning a little respect along the way (before Seth Rollins cashed in). It’s likely an indication of the story they’re trying to repeat this year, this time with Roman also defending the honor of WWE and its fans, as Brock has been painted as a mercenary who doesn’t care about wrestling, the title or the fans, just the money.

While that probably won’t work, it definitely doesn’t hurt to try, and Monday’s brawl is a reminder that regardless, we should see a brutal fight at Mania.
