Pop Quiz: When was the last time anyone cared about Tamina?

If you had to really, really think and guessed, “2011,” you might be correct. Tamina has been such a non-factor in WWE for so long that it’s more surprising that she’s still employed than anything else. She hasn’t been much of a focal point in recent years, aside from being AJ Lee’s heavy in 2013-14, and a member of Team BAD in 2015.

However, it does makes sense for her to square off against Nia Jax, even if those were indeed crickets you heard when they faced off. Maybe WWE thinks they have the female Mark Henry, with a bruiser who’s failed to break through for several years before finally clicking and getting a good run.

But for now, we’ll just label this a waste of time.
