Since winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, Neville has been on fire as a sneering, dominant heel champ. He’s defeated everyone put in front of him, including Austin Aries at WrestleMania XXXIII.

But Sunday, Aries had Neville right where he wanted him, in the Last Chancery too far from the ropes for the champ to get a break. And the King of the Cruiserweights did the only thing he could do at that moment: grab the referee and toss him to the ground, drawing a DQ. It was an act of desperation that he hasn’t really had to employ to this point, which is an indication that he’s vulnerable.

Moreover, the DQ finish means the heated rivalry between Neville and Aries will presumably continue a bit longer. These two have pretty good chemistry, and their matches have been fun affairs, so one more certainly won’t hurt.
