5 Ups And 9 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 8th)
6. Runaway Promo
You have to shake your head at WWE sometimes when you see how the company collectively thinks. In this instance, watching six of the seven participants in the Money in the Bank ladder match come out one by one to interrupt Kane and talk about how they were going to win was a perfect example. WWE probably believes that this is the hard sell, with each man stating how he wants to grab the briefcase and guarantee himself a favorable world title match, but that was not the best use of the multi-man promo, as it became more and more of a joke rather than seven men seriously getting across their intent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcRvryFZnuo Its hard to consider this a terrible thing seven men have to build a ladder match in just two weeks but perhaps something simpler like the inset promos WWE has started using again would have been helpful rather than this mess.
