5 Ways WWE's Actually Better Without A Crowd

4. A Change Is As Good As A Rest

SmackDown Triple H
WWE

This one won't last much longer, but right now there's a burning curiosity to absolutely everything to do with WWE. How they adapt to the circumstances, how matches, and feuds, and promos, and WrestleMania will unfold in the current climate, all of it is absolutely fascinating at the moment.

WWE desperately wants everything they do to be captivating, unmissable television and right now that's exactly what it is. Playing to empty arenas, pre-taping WrestleMania, putting Triple H on commentary, all of it was unthinkable a few weeks ago but is the dramatic reality of the situation right now. If nothing else, they have our attention.

WWE not having proper breaks in their scheduling means that everything tends to blur into one long smear across the years. Production sets, broadcast teams, all of the non-wrestling side of pro-wrestling tends to feel very monotonous and predictable, so right now we're at least getting something we've legitimately never seen before.

This is certainly not a good thing, and its curiosity factor will diminish week-on-week, but in the here and now it's at least something new to talk about.
