5 Ways WWE's Actually Better Without A Crowd

3. Nobody's Taking The Focus Away From The Wrestlers

If you've been to a wrestling show, big or small, then you're well aware that there's a minority of fans who absolutely love making it all about them. Yeah, fair enough, you've paid your money and, without enthused participation, the show would die on its arse, but there's also a boundary of respect that's too often crossed.

Fans getting in wrestler's faces for no reason, fans throwing things into the rings, fans thinking they're incredibly clever by barking something out in the middle of an important promo, fans catcalling female performers, everyone who has ever done a "What?" chant, f***ing Izzy! Imagine how much more enjoyable shows would have been over the years without these people.

I do not, for one second, advocate for throwing the baby out with the bathwater here, and the sooner we can get fans back into wrestling shows the better, but not having to worry about this vocal, self-important minority is nonetheless a thin silvery lining on this particularly weighty cloud.
