5 Worst WWE Divas Champions Of The PG Era

2. Alicia Fox

Having to see Fox’s name on a ‘worst of’ list is a bitter pill to take. She was an underrated worker, the only African American woman to lift the Diva’s title, and improved immeasurably towards the back end of her career. At the time of her only world championship win, however, WWE was lacking in both substance and planning in the women’s department.

After knocking off Eve Torres in June 2010 to win the garish butterfly title, she faced Torres a couple more times, defending the title on each occasion, before Melina stepped up to the plate. She beat Fox in non-title action to earn her shot, then took the belt in their next encounter. Fox, like much of the roster, was treated as a joke, even as world champion.

If this taught us anything it was that the Diva’s title was a poisoned chalice that only a select few managed to seriously elevate. There's no question that, if given the chance today, Fox could have had a stellar run at the top, working the likes of Bayley, Baszler, Banks, and other Superstars whose names don't begin with a B.
