5 Wrestlers Who Could Be NXT's Unknown Insurgent

Sticking with Bo's era but pivoting to the Women's Division, could another first ever NXT Champion be ready to cast an eye on the current state of the black-and-gold brand?

Paige's presence within WWE was mainly reserved to Fox show Backstage in the pre-global b*stard era, and it looked possible that she might not be with the company at all after bizarre rules were revealed about how much talent could use their names online for the likes of Cameos, Twitch streams et al.

She noped all of that with a typically bold stance, but might that moment have been a major reminder to those in charge that she was still on the books at all? We are still to presume that she cannot wrestle (though the industry has presented far bigger surprises in the past than a young talent coming out of retirement), but her run as The Kabuki Warriors' manager was far too brief to judge how well she might have performed in the role.

In direct contrast to Bo Dallas, she'd be welcome on the brand right now. The women's division could do with a legacy player or wisened veteran to work with, against or alongside one of the roster's younger talents.
