5 Wrestling Dream Matches That Make Perfect Sense (And 5 That Don't)

6. DO - Big E Vs Roman Reigns

The Fiend Doink
WWE

How well Big E's recent singles run has done at willing this potential WrestleMania main event into existence speaks to the overwhelming respect for the man himself.

With both Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods both down injured, E has been encouraged by his teammates to go it alone and has become the lead babyface-in-waiting on SmackDown as a result. This has timed out rather nicely with two excellent and authentic promos on the uncanceled Talking Smack and - crucially - the return of Roman Reigns as a sh*tkicking heel Universal Champion.

'The Big Dog' is p*ssing people off the right reasons for a change, and looks like a major, major star for it. Absence has made the heart swell on all sides, suggesting he could well make it to the next 'Show Of Shows' with the blue brand's belt in tact. There are fewer potential challengers more suited for the spot than the beloved New Day man, particularly if he's managed to win the Rumble en route.
