5 WWE Wrestlers Who SHOULD Have Dethroned Roman Reigns (And 5 Who Still Could)

5. Seth Rollins

Fun fact: Seth Rollins is the only many to hold a victory of any kind over Roman Reigns in singles action since January 2020, a DQ win at Royal Rumble 2022.

Rollins also has beaten Reigns for a world title twice: at WrestleMania 31 and Money in the Bank 2016. (Roman has never beaten Seth for a title.) When you consider that history and Rollins’ rising popularity, it’s impossible to ignore the possibility that the Visionary could make a serious run at Reigns.

Unlike most of the other main-event level superstars on the roster, Rollins doesn’t have the stink of having lost to Roman and even has a good case to make for why he should get another crack.

As to whether Rollins actually is the guy to beat Roman, it’s unlikely, but there’s always a chance.
