5 WWE Wrestlers Who SHOULD Have Dethroned Roman Reigns (And 5 Who Still Could)

4. MJF

MJF Roman Reigns
AEW/WWE

Let’s go way outside the box for one minute and pick someone who doesn’t even work for WWE.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman has long talked about the “Bidding War of 2024.” Whether it’s part of his gimmick or an honest effort to stir interest in himself, MJF has not been shy about suggesting he’d go to WWE when his AEW contract expires.

Of course, none of this holds up if he re-signs or if he was extended during his absence last year. But let’s have fun and say Roman Reigns holds the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship into 2024. MJF is the kind of guy who could captivate the entire WWE audience in no time, and he could stir up trouble for the Bloodline quickly as well.

There probably is a better chance of Gunther turning face and beating Reigns, but as a discussion point, this is a fun one to toss out there.
