Don't turn your back on the Wolfpac. You might wind up in a body bag, don't you know?

By June 1998, WCW boss Eric Bischoff viewed the nWo brand as a license to print money. Merchandise was flying off the shelves, and fans earned extra cool points if they owned an Austin 3:16 t-shirt and a New World Order one. The catwalks of Milan awaited if someone added a red-tinged Wolfpac tee to their collection.

Sting did exactly that on the 1 June '98 Nitro. He rappelled down from the rafters in iconic fashion, then literally showed off his fashion by wearing a black and white nWo shirt. Hollywood Hogan was chuffed, but Stinger had a surprise waiting for him. He tore that off (awkwardly, in retrospect), and revealed Wolfpac colours.

The divide within the New World Order perhaps peaked here. Sting had been a staunch enemy of the faction since it launched, and yet here he was throwing up the 'Too Sweet' horns with Kevin Nash and old tag partner Lex Luger. Seeing 'Crow' Sting get cool with his red makeover was rather awesome back then.
