Birthplace: Bay City, Michigan When Scott Steiner first arrived on the scene, he was viewed as someone who was the future of the wrestling business. Even though he was in a tag team with his brother, Rick, he seemed to have "future World Champion" written all over him. He was very popular, he had the size, and he was one of the better pure wrestlers around. Until his second stint with WCW, though, when he put on an insane amount of muscle mass and cut his hair, he never quite reached the top of the mountain. His new look, mixed with his new over-the-top personality and promo style, allowed him to win the WCW World Title on November 26th, 2000. The man who was born and raised in Michigan, including being an All-American amateur wrestler at the University Of Michigan, had always represented his home state proudly, all the while.
