50 Best Wrestlers Of The 2020s (So Far)

21. Iyo Sky

WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 Iyo Sky
WWE

Iyo Sky has spent the 2020s building one of the most consistently excellent résumés in modern WWE. Between dominating in NXT and on the main roster Sky has proven herself a world-class performer, even if she's had to work with less spotlight than her talent deserves.

Capturing the NXT Women’s Championship in 2020, Sky held the belt for over 300 days, delivering standout matches against the likes of Sasha Banks, Candice LeRae, and Toni Storm. Her reign wasn't just long - it was quality-packed, and keep the women's division thriving between the black-and-gold brand and the NXT 2.0 transition.

While Damage CRTL's long-term direction often felt muddled in the years that followed, it at least provided Sky with a platform to showcase her in-ring brilliance on a bigger stage. Sky was counted on to elevate any match she was part of, even if it meant turning a throwaway tag match on Raw into something that outshone the rest of the card.

An instant classic with Bayley at WrestleMania 40 proved how elite both women are when given the space to perform, and that was bettered by her electrifying triple threat against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair the following year. Through sheer consistency and big-match excellence, Iyo's has secured her place as one of the most important - and under-appreciated - stars of WWE’s 2020s, and based on a further rise entirely in 2025, her popularity ceiling may not yet have been reached
