50 Greatest WWE Raw Moments Ever

5. Becky Lynch Bleeds (November 12th, 2018)

WWE booking was so bad in the 2010s that more success stories came from happy accidents than planned pushes, and never was this more apparent than when Becky Lynch became a made 'Man' after Nia Jax shoot smashed her face in.

All signs pointed towards Lynch breaking through anyway after a transcendent second half of the year, but her defiant, blood-stained stance at the climax of an unimportant SmackDown Vs Raw brawl on the road to Survivor Series 2018 made her - to use a phrase that became common around that time - undeniable. She had to miss a singles match with Ronda Rousey that ultimately never materialised, but that painful loss only strengthened her babyface relationship with the crowd having spent the Autumn supposedly honing the new persona as a heel.

Proving that wrestlers need luck and timing as much as they need talent, the incident taking place in November super-charged her road to the Royal Rumble, when, after years of forcing through plans rather than simply going with audience sentiment, WWE put her over where it mattered most. Her historic WrestleMania 35 main event against Rousey and Charlotte Flair didn't provide an in-ring payoff to match the build, but Lynch styled it out all the same. She'd been bulletproof since November.
