50 Ups & 50 Downs For WWE's Decade: The 2010s

43. The Nexus Debut

Every bit as good as you remember with a follow-up so bad you have to forget, the initial Nexus attack on John Cena, CM Punk, Jerry Lawler and Monday Night Raw in general hasn't lost its impact nearly a full decade later.

The premise made simple use of a horribly contrived conceit - the group had been used and abused by a stupid concept show and were ready to kick the f*ck out of everybody they believed responsible.

Heartless, heartbreaking and dripping with equal parts fear and intrigue, this was destruction on a visually epic scale that got eight men over in an instant. It's a crime their subsequent run had to feature elsewhere on this list.
