50 Worst WCW Moments Ever
1. Goldberg “Won’t Follow The Script”
Here it is: The nadir of WCW decision-making and a moment so foul it should've killed the company stone dead.
At New Blood Rising 2000, Goldberg refused to take Kevin Nash's powerbomb and stormed out. An irate Vince Russo demanded he get back in the ring to do the job, and the commentary team called Bill unprofessional for going off-script. Then, Scott Steiner and Nash "improvised" (WCW's words) the end of the match, and Scott was commended for doing what Goldberg wouldn't.
All of this was meant to suggest that Goldberg went into business for himself by tearing up creative plans. It was the pits, and turned WCW's product into even more of a laughing stock. Using WCW's logic, Billy Kidman and Shane Douglas had been fake-fighting over a bottle of viagra a fortnight before because they were "professional".
That must be why Stacy Keibler faked a miscarriage earlier in the night too, eh? Yuck.
