Even though he is portrayed as a heel on NXT, Aiden English is without question one of the superstars that Full Sail University can't get enough of. They either love him, or love to hate him, but they want him in the ring or on their television screens, serenading and entertaining them. Aiden has certainly earned his spot on the NXT roster, being one of the most charismatic performers they have. He is a quality singer, cleverer than anyone could have expected when it comes to his lines (some of the cleverest word play in a WWE ring by a guy not named The Rock), he has a magnetism that draws you to his performance, and on top of all that, the guy is more than serviceable in the ring. Whether you root against him because he's the villain or not, nobody can say that the guy doesn't bring something unique to the table. Aiden English has pretty much everything that somebody would need to carve out a spot for themselves on the main roster, but still you can't help but be doubtful that he has much of a chance. Firstly his body type doesn't do him any favours. He is skinny and lanky, and while that may fit in with his character being a drama geek on NXT, amongst some of the trees that they have on the main roster, it will be hard to believe that he poses any real threat. Secondly his name is forgettable, not quite on the level of a Michael McGillicutty, but pretty pedestrian in its own right. Finally, his biggest hindrance on the main roster would be the character itself. There is a ceiling on how successful this kind of character can be, and the best he could hope for is to be Fandango. There are plenty of those kinds of characters on the main roster, which will mean he'll likely never stand out, and will just be another forgettable face in the crowd.
