6 More Times Wrestlers Performed Their Finishers In Movies

3. Dolph Ziggler - Countdown

You learn a lot of weird things in this job but somewhere in the Top… like… 50 weird things I’ve learned is that the movie Countdown exists. One of those myriad of WWE Studios efforts that’s managed to slip and dissolve into the either of time like a piece of bog roll in the bath.

In it, disgraced narcotics cop Ray Thompson (played by Dolph Ziggler), finds himself in the midst of a cat and mouse hostage situation with… somebody… and then there’s a bit… where he has to go to a WWE show… I think… and anyway, yeah, he runs past Rusev (played by Rusev) and just super kicks him even though he’s obviously a bit spooked by all the gun noises and is literally just trying to help.

Then Lana (played by Lana) just pops off what "that's a real man" despite the fact that, as far as she knows, Ray is a terrorist with a gun at an event full of children who has just kicked her boyfriend in the face. You're also sat there now saying "Clery, you spenk, Ziggler's finisher is not a super kick" and, while I hear you to an extent, he so badly wants to be Shawn Michaels that I'm going to allow it.

Plus, it's my f***ing list.

Anyway Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Roman Reigns, Santino Marella, Dean Ambrose, Curtis Axel, Mark Henry, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, Heath Slater, Randy Orton, Charles Robinson, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Viktor, Konnor, Sin Cara, Kalisto, Brock Lesnar, and Paul Heyman are all sort of in it as well and it’s really, really bad.
