6 Problems WWE Solved In The 2019 Draft

3. Raw's Improved Depth Chart

Big beefy boys on SmackDown

WWE's post-WrestleMania 35 Superstar Shake-Up left the Raw women's division shorthanded, effectively forcing the promotion to hotshot the under-seasoned Lacey Evans into a lengthy programme with Becky Lynch. 'The Man' endured, because of course she did, but her direction in-between 'Mania and Sasha Banks' return was far from ideal.

That shouldn't be a problem anymore. With the 2019 Draft, WWE have built a Raw division crammed with talented wrestlers and big personalities, and while Banks and Bayley may struggle on SmackDown, Mondays look pretty close to stacked.

Lynch and Charlotte Flair are the obvious names at the top of the pile. Beneath them are Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. Raw has also shifted the likes of Lacey Evans to make way for effective midcarders like Naomi and a soon-to-be-repackaged Liv Morgan, while Natalya is always a steady pair of hands in whatever role WWE decides to cast her in. It's strong from top to bottom, basically.

Booking is critical and none of this will mean anything if creative isn't on point, but at least WWE have laid the groundwork.
