The absence of questions around key issues suggests that certain topic were agreed to be off limits beforehand, and it seems one of these topics was the WWE's firing of Alberto Del Rio. According to numerous news reports, and to Del Rio himself, the Mexican star was allegedly fired after slapping a social media employee of the WWE in response to a racist comment. Fans of Del Rio's work left were disappointed that McMahon wasn't asked about the incident. Long time followers would have reveled in hearing Austing ask "If Del Rio was taking a stand against racism, did he deserve to lose his job?" And even if Del Rio should have approached the incident differently, wrestling fans and Del Rio supporters would have loved to see Vince pressed about what happened to the guy who made the comment, who presumably continues to well remunerated for tweeting merrily, unhindered by the event that left Del Rio jobless.
