For a moment, Austin teased it. The former WWE champion asked his greatest rival and former boss if the Macho Man Randy Savage would ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Hame. Like Daniel Bryan on a Raw return, McMahon was quick to respond YES. During the stare down that followed, every smart mark in the World prayed for Austin to ask McMahon about the root of the tension with Savage. Savage is one of the greatest performers in WWE history, and the most suspiciously absent name in the prestigious list of WWE Hall of Fame inductees. Since the advent of the internet the rumor has persisted that Savage had more than a professional relationship with Vince's daughter Stephanie. So we all held our breath as Austin was finally primed to ask the Chairman for the truth. Instead, Austin moved swiftly along to the next question, leaving wrestling fans around the World to forever wonder if the Macho Man crossed Vince's line between the professional and the personal.
