6 Reasons Bray Wyatt Must Win WWE Title At Elimination Chamber 2017
1. The Other Options Just Don't Compare
The final pieces of the puzzle to consider are the five alternatives who could instead leave the Chamber as WWE Champion on Sunday.
It’s already been addressed why John Cena shouldn’t retain, and as for Baron Corbin, on top of the reasons that were outlined in the previous slide, he’s still not quite ready for a world title run just yet. Dean Ambrose, meanwhile, is Intercontinental Champion, so it seems pointless to sign him up for double duty, while the Miz’s history with the number one contender just isn’t as compelling as Wyatt’s.
A case could be made for AJ Styles to regain the belt and face Orton at ‘Mania, but remember that a win for Styles would afford Cena an automatic rematch for the belt. And as great as Cena vs. Styles has been, that’s a feud that we've seen very recently and has since been just about exhausted.
Ultimately, for the options it presents moving forward, the knock-on effects for others, as well as the chance to culminate a story that's now been months in the making, it’s difficult to look beyond Bray Wyatt as the standout candidate to win the title at Elimination Chamber.
