1. Roman Reigns Was Going To Beat Rollins At Survivor Series
Following the news of Rollins' injury, fans were wondering what the plan was for Survivor Series. According to PWInsider noted that Reigns was expected to have PPV matches with Rollins at Survivor Series and the TLC event in December with Reigns emerging with the WWE Title. The most likely scenario would have seen Reigns win the WWE Title at Survivor Series with Rollins getting his rematch at TLC and Reigns winning again. That would end the feud and take Rollins out of the title picture to end the year. While the Rollins injury is obviously a blow, the title picture doesn't have to change that much. If they were going go with Reigns winning at Survivor Series before then they can still go with that plan - they just won't have the luxury of doing a rematch at TLC since Rollins will be out of action for it. For Reigns to ascend to the throne of top dog in WWE, they had to book him to beat Rollins, the main who debuted on the WWE roster with alongside him three years ago. They are seen as guys on the same level to the fans, so if Reigns were to lose it would damage him some more. That wasn't going to happen. As good as Rollins is, WWE sees Reigns as the future more than anybody else and they were going to use Rollins to put him over because that would have been best for business, at least in their eyes.
