6 Times Ronda Rousey Stirred The Pot For No Reason
4. Calling Out Bantamweight Bryan Caraway
Back in 2012, Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate were scheduled to combat for the first time in Strikeforce. Leading up to the big fight, the two competitors exchanged more than their fair share of verbal blows.
Although these sort of confrontations typically build hype for upcoming bouts, there are unspoken barriers intact, and things only get personal to a certain extent.
What barriers? said ‘Rowdy’ Rousey when she decided to bring Tate’s boyfriend, UFC Bantamweight Bryan Caraway, into the equation for whatever reason, claiming she could beat them both.
While later on the two of them would establish the motive behind their rivalry, at this point, there was no reason for Rousey to bring up Caraway. But she did. And for no other reason than to say she could beat him up, which was the sort thing a bully might have said.
There are a lot of wrestler-couples in WWE—some quite powerful--which means Rousey will need to steer clear of mentioning anyone else’s significant other during backstage arguments no matter how heated things might get.
