4. Another Tidy Women’s Triple Threat

That first three-way in the Women’s United States Title tournament between Bayley, B-FAB and Candice LeRae last week was a blast. Everyone involved had time to shine, and B-FAB rightly earned rave reviews behind the curtain for matching more experienced workers all the way. Ready for more good news? This week’s effort matched that success.

Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport and Chelsea Green all meshed well together and did everything they could to keep things motoring along. Jade Cargill being laid out backstage distracted Belair and gave her an excuse to leave in a panic, which left Chelsea alone to pin Davenport and advance in the tourney. One just can’t argue with slick ring work, a slightly surprising winner and some story intrigue for the Women’s Tag-Team Champs along the way.

That's solid television. Well done, Hunter. Take a bow, son!

Seriously, this fan was hard on WWE for introducing another belt. They've had a tough enough time giving Nia Jax and Liv Morgan suitable opponents, so adding even more gold sounded risky. Shockingly, this fan also doesn't have all the answers, and it's pretty neat to be proven wrong. Thus far, the Women's US Title tournament is letting a few overlooked workers grab some spotlight and improve their standing on the roster.

That's a huge plus. Long may it continue. These zippy triple threats are perfect for weekly programming too. Neither one to date has outstayed its welcome (both have been around the 10 minute mark), and even the losers have been bolstered and/or received some story context to spin out onto afterwards.
