6 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 22)

1. Cody Rhodes Takes Over

Seconds after PAC's win, the house lights went out and Malakai Black was standing in-ring when they came back on. He glared at Andrade, then started attacking a certain 'Bastard'. Fans in Miami who were expecting a two-on-one beatdown to end the show lost their minds when Cody Rhodes sprinted to the rescue.

Rhodes went straight for Black, but the mysterious heel escaped before Cody could blast him with a steel chair shot. That'll likely happen on Saturday's Dynamite when the pair lock horns for a third time; also, the heat on display here should tell AEW that a third bout between PAC and Andrade would 100% work.

This was a great way to close out Rampage.

Cody was fired up, the fans in Florida were receptive, Black skulked away like a coward and PAC didn't take much of a kicking after all. Babyface revenge was very much the theme during that main event and end segment. It worked a treat.
