6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Collision (March 16 - Results & Review)

2. Wasn’t Feeling This One

Claudio Castagnoli Lance Archer
AEW

It takes a lot to make Claudio Castagnoli matches skippable, but Collision managed it. Claudio vs. Lance Archer was a bit of a slow slog that never really got going. Worse, it's difficult to see much interest in Archer and The Righteous facing Blackpool Combat Club in some trios bouts over the next few weeks.

Good luck with that one.

Simply put, this is a time-killing exercise the BCC just doesn't need. Jon Moxley wasn't on tap for the show, so Shibata ran out with a steel chair to even the odds after Bryan Danielson's save attempt had already failed. So, Katsuyori will become an honorary member to replace Mox and team with Claudio and Bryan?

Tony Khan seems interested in pushing Archer (at least for a while) yet again. That'd be tolerable if he actually had any sort of story to pin his hopes on, or character development. Instead he's just a big dude who has random matches. Yours truly genuinely has zero desire to see the resultant six-man coming out of this.
