6 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Collision (March 16 - Results & Review)

1. Weird Choice Of Main Event

Mark Briscoe AEW
AEW

Yes, AEW had Adam Copeland's promo to close out Collision, but House Of Black vs. The Infantry was still an odd pick to be in the main event slot this week. It's especially strange for a card that boasted Danielson vs. Shibata. Surely that was a dead cert to go on last and send everyone home dizzy with delight after seeing an in-ring clinic?

Oh well.

HOB pretty much squashed The Infantry lads until Mark Briscoe popped up with a chair shot to give them the fluke win. Personally, this fan would've stuck with House Of Black in the tourney and tried to reheat them a little. Christ, have them go over FTR if it gets the job done. It's crap to see HOB continue to flounder like this.

Sadly, the usual picture-in-picture ad break treatment totally gutted this match and left it fighting an uphill battle borderline squashes are never gonna win. If AEW knew The Infantry were going over and wrestling deeper into the tourney, then making them look like enhancement workers was also a baffling decision.
