6 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Backstage (Dec 3)

2. White Flag On The Hot Tag

Erick Rowan
WWE

Standing in direct contrast to how WWE normally produce their television, the 'Hot Tag' helped differentiate Backstage from the product itself by forcing panelists to keep their takes pointed rather than protracted.

This should theoretical salvage potentially lost credibility when discussing things such as the patently absurd Erick Rowan cage storyline, but Renee Young pushed the team for answers even when he'd used up the time talking about his talents rather than this stupid stupid f*cking story.

There's a way to keep the show credible in a way Monday Night Raw can never be - avoiding even approaching angles such as these save for a total skewering would be wise.
