6 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (4 May - Results & Review)
3. Sol Steps Up To Becks

When Becky Lynch isn’t doing her cartoonish antics and is playing it a bit more reserved, she can still be a very effective heel.
Witness Sol Ruca’s first official night on Raw. Ruca was preparing to sign her contract with Raw GM Adam Pearce in the ring when Lynch stormed out, ignoring the NXT call-up and saying she had been looking for the GM because this time had been allotted to her for a championship celebration – 2 weeks after WrestleMania.
Sol had enough agency to cut Becky off mid-rant, and when 'The Man' started back up again, Ruca again silenced her, calling her a “rude, big-headed b**ch,” and mimicking Lynch’s “it’s not just me saying it” line to drive home that everyone in the back feels the same way.
Lynch was incredulous, but just in case she wasn’t sure how serious Ruca was, the NXT call-up threatened to snatch her soul if she ever interrupted her again. Becky saw red and “inadvertently” punched Pearce, leaving herself susceptible to a Sol Snatcher.
Points have to be deducted for the botched delivery of the Sol Snatcher, which looks breathtaking when executed properly but can look horrendous if someone is out of place or if (in this case) Ruca missteps and doesn’t hit her mark.
Still, this was a strong debut for Ruca, who took no guff from Lynch from the jump.
