Ups...

6. Danhausen’s Silliness Shouldn’t Work, But…

Danhausen The Miz Kit Wilson

...it is.

His electro shock therapy has turned The Miz and Kit Wilson into catchphrase machines, and now Matt Cardona got a shock and reverted to Zack Ryder. There’s something fun about the whole deal. It’s obviously ridiculous, but it’s comedy that actually works, and people don't get to say that about wrestling too often.

Danhausen building an army of gimmicky wrestlers doing his evil bidding sounds like a hoot. It's precisely the kind of thing he'd run with and make work, and we've still to find out who's underneath the sheet as his very own Frankenstein's monster creation. Braun Strowman returning as his original 2016 self would be a shout, and that'd be way better than rumoured pitches for a Baron Corbin comeback.

Nah, no offence to Constable Corbs, but it has to be something bigger who can act as a monstrous brick wallhausen. Genuine statement nobody ever thought they'd say incoming: Danhausen leading a brainwashed Miz and Wilson to the tag straps would be an improvement on Priest and Truth in their own odd couple role. That just hadn't clicked because WWE hasn't given them anything to work with other than endless wars with The MFTs.

Maybe there'd be something to Miz and Wilson winning the belts then defending against Angel and Berto. They were involved in this backstage nonsense themselves, and it'd be sweet to see the team get another spin in the title mix. They're practically screaming into their catering plates for something else other than food to sink their teeth into.

Why not this?!
