Motor City Machine Guns Fraxiom

Fraxiom vs. Motor City Machine Guns was the kind of match these teams do best. They went hell for leather for most of it, with great double team action/sequences from both. Sure, fans took a second to warm up, but that’s likely because WWE hasn’t been doing a whole heck of a lot with either duo lately. Hopefully, they’ll get the chance to shine now we’ve got new figureheads in the division.

You've got to appreciate the little side quest story with Alex Shelley’s head being turned by what’s going on with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. It isn’t all that interesting just yet, but it does give a different dynamic to cold matches like this one. Sabin didn’t see LeRae’s interference, but Shelley clocked her help and gave her a nod. That'll come up between them when Chris sees the replays later.

Assuming anyone in wrestling ever watches the shows they've been on, of course. At least check out those quick fire YouTube highlights, guys!

A while back, Gargano was working a bogus storyline with Axiom's spare mask that went exactly nowhere. Putting him with the Machine Guns and seeing if they can work something out sounds like a plan. Hey, it's hardly like any of them have much going on separately anyway, and that could be the heelish edge Motor City needs to go after R-Truth and Damian Priest. Would Sabin and Shelley work as villains? Meh, it's worth a shot.

Tidy match here regardless. Nathan Frazer must've supped some pre-workout before he went through the curtain or something, because his sprints were Bron Breakker fast.
