5. An 8-Man Tag Pulls The Nose Up

Anyone who reads these write ups regularly will know how frosty this guy has been on The Wyatt Sicks. He doesn't think they were the right pick to become leaders of SmackDown's tag-team division, and he hasn't had much time for Solo Sikoa and his MFT gang going after Uncle Howdy and pals. You've got to call 'em how you see 'em. Shocked by the praise?

Don't be - these 2 factions earned every bit of it on Friday.

MFTs vs. The Sicks in an 8-man tag bout was way better than seeing the groups go nose to nose without action or cutting samey promos on one another. Genuinely, those cryptic pre-tapes The Wyatts (in particular) do can get right in the bin. Back on the positive front, fans in Berlin actually seemed into what they were seeing, and the match was a nice change of pace for a story that’s been sucking wind since it started.

Solo's crew winning to potentially secure a tag title shot makes sense too, and it was also nice to see Tama Tonga scoring the pin on Howdy. One gets the impression that he's about to be positioned as the next push in this equation. Fingers crossed that Tama holds up his end of the bargain there and spins out of this MFT thing with some momentum behind him.

This is the best thing The Sicks have been involved in since TLC at SummerSlam 2025. Now, get those belts off of Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis, and onto the team of JC Mateo and Tama.
