3. Where Is Dragon Lee Going?

Rey Mysterio Dragon Lee

Right, it honestly feels like WWE doesn't know what to do with Dragon Lee.

He lost to Santos Escobar in less than two minutes, and has become little more than a tool to get to Santos vs. Rey Mysterio. The problem? That feud doesn't need further context. It certainly doesn't need somebody like Lee to act as cannon fodder for Legado del Fantasma so Rey-Rey and pals have someone new to protect.

Hopefully, things work out for Dragon in the end and creative doesn't pull a Cameron Grimes here. The guy's too talented for that nonsense, and deserves way better than to become NXT's latest main roster tank. Perhaps that's jumping the gun and far too negative this early into his run, but yeah - yours truly has concerns.

Lee was allowed to look competitive with Escobar before the numbers game got to him, but it all felt a little unnecessary. In fact, his inclusion in this rivalry is unnecessary full stop. It's too forced, especially when there was zero relationship between he and Mysterio beforehand.
