6 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (Oct 7 - Results & Review)
1. Copeland's Collision Course
Nowadays #AllElite, this weekend saw Adam Copeland make his AEW Collision debut. All as Jim Ross, Nigel McGuinness and Ian Riccaboni did their absolute best not to refer to the 11-time World Champion as Edge.
Continuing to push towards an inevitable Copeland vs. Christian Cage bout down the line, here we had the WWE Hall of Famer call out his on-off BFF as he highlighted how they both had their careers put on hold due to supposedly career-ending injuries.
Of course, Adam only got a video screen response from smug prick Cage, and the TNT Champion soon sent Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne to do his bidding. That two-on-one beatdown was briefly halted by Darby Allin, before Allin himself was likewise left laying.
All of this nicely set things up for Copeland and Luchasaurus' match on Tuesday, while adding a nice slice of viciousness to the recently-turned Wayne and sparking more fire to the brewing rivalry between Nick and Darby.
As an aside, it was also nice to see Copeland address Jim Ross, with JR clearly moved by the Canadian's kind words.
