6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Collision (Nov 17 - Results & Review)

1. Don’t Mind The Non-Finish!

Dax Harwood Rush
AEW

What's this? A non-finish? IN AEW?! Fetch the pitchforks immediately. No, not really. The referee ended up throwing Rush vs. Dax Harwood out due to interference from Ricky Starks and Big Bill, but bloody hell - that was a hard-hitting scrap up until Rush slapped Ricky (even more) handsome.

Dax and Rush kicked the sh*t out of one another like they'd watched Gunther vs. Sheamus and thought, 'Oh, you think so?'. Fair play to commentary for putting across that neither man needed to go through this toil 24 hours before a ladder match on pay-per-view; Tony Schiavone was on fire when he asked what the pair would do when gold was up for grabs.

You've gotta love that hard PPV sell.

The ref called for the bell once the AEW Tag Champs poked their noses in, then chaos ensued as the four-way field brawled like they'd just been told Royal Rumble was this weekend instead. This was a way, way better preview for Full Gear than that House Of Black squash earlier in the night.
