6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (1 Dec)

5. Baker & Hayter Make Good

Britt Baker
AEW

There's simmering discontent between Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter, now. After losing to Thunder Rosa following Britt and Rebel's botched interference, Hayter was negged here, with Britt pointing out the loss. Hayter snapped back pointing out Baker's own defeat to Rosa, but they pulled it back together with the assertion that Jamie was going to batter Riho on next week's Dynamite, potentially rendering her unable to compete for Baker's Women's World Title.

This is a fragile alliance that's not built to last. Hayter is too good and too accomplished to play a secondary role forever. She's good at it, absolutely, but there's no need to string this along forever, so expect further fractures when she slips up against Riho.

Hayter finally snapping on Baker down the line could be the ideal catalyst to turn the Good Doctor full babyface again. If so, she'll be a great heel foil.
