6 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 28)

AEW's worst segment ever? Inner Circle's last stand? All the Double Or Nothing hype.

The Pinnacle AEW
AEW

"When you're in The Pinnacle, you're always on top".

MJF ended a special Friday edition of AEW Dynamite with those very words, but not before he and his running buddies had kicked the living sh*t out of The Inner Circle. In pro wrestling, that'd typically mean Chris Jericho and the lads are picking up a win at Double Or Nothing on Sunday, but AEW don't tend to follow the old telegraph booking rules often.

All signs point towards that being one last hurrah on Dynamite for the Circle, at least for now. Elsewhere, new beginnings were very much the order of the day; Jade Cargill got a new manager, AEW teased a new World Champ and Britt Baker declared that a new era was about to fall on the company's female ranks with a super-strong promo.

Plus, Miro kicked some ass, Hangman Page did his best to make people care about the Brian Cage feud and AEW booked...one of the worst segments in Dynamite history. Huh?! Who saw that coming? Cody Rhodes was involved too, which only makes it even weirder.

Here's all the (very) good and the (very) bad from Friday's go home...
