6 Ups & 4 Downs From IMPACT Wrestling (3 June)

1. And Another One

Sami Callihan Moose

So, there’s a slight caveat to this. Subjectively, Moose vs. Sami Callihan was a decent main event that perhaps could have done without the apron Powerbomb and Moose hurling himself into the guardrail mere minutes into the bout. Similarly, the pair kicking out of each other’s finishing moves – the Go To Hell and the Piledriver, respectively – makes both their finishers and themselves look weak. Still, though, it was fine. This happens all the time.

You know what else has been happening all the time? The Good Brothers interrupting matches. Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson ambushed both Sami and Moose to rule the bout a no contest, although apparently Callihan was deemed the winner. They did this to Callihan on the first IMPACT after Rebellion and then again at Under Siege. It’s losing its importance.

Tony Khan is now coming in next week to seemingly book a three-way for Against All Odds between Moose, Callihan, and defending World Champion Kenny Omega, which will inevitably be a hoot, but there are numerous other avenues you can go down to reach that end destination.

By having Gallows and Anderson do the run in every single time, it helps literally nobody succeed. Not even them.
