6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (March 2)

Ace Austin, FinJuice, and ODB cement their championship opportunities.

Last night's Impact Wrestling was quite standard, all things considered.

The biggest talking points coming out of the evening were the three new championship matches made for Sacrifice, as Ace Austin, FinJuice, and ODB are set to challenge for the X Division, World Tag Team, and Knockouts Championships, respectively. Ace earned his title shot in an impressive contest with Chris Bey and Black Taurus to kick off the show, which was undoubtedly the best match of the night.

Elsewhere on the night, ODB came back after being beaten down last week as she laid out Deonna Purrazzo to close the show, Sami Callihan showed up at Trey Miguel's training school, Matt Cardona donned the stripes for Eddie Edwards vs. Brian Myers, and a decent eight-man tag saw The Good Brothers and FinJuice take on XXXL and Reno Scum to build anticipation for that tag titles match next weekend.

As we approach both Sacrifice on 13 March and Rebellion on 24 April, the company needs to stay on this wavelength. The product they're currently producing isn't terrible, but there's room for improvement still. Expect them to reach that as the end of April looms closer.

Let's get to it...
