6 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (March 2)
1. ...Is That It?
Tenille Dashwood now holds victories over both Nevaeh and Havok, pinning the latter last night after knocking her head with a Spotlight Kick. As a big, almost blowoff conclusion to a secondary story, this didn't quite hit the mark.
Havok, seething at Tenille attempting to jump in as her new partner while Nevaeh needs some space, found herself being easily defeated. She was stuck in rest holds for a good chunk of the match, and when she wasn't, she was being needlessly distracted by Kaleb With A K. How she couldn't just spike Tenille with a Tombstone while Kaleb watched is a mystery.
Nevaeh would make the save for Havok post-match, dropping Kaleb on his head with a unique Sister Abigail/DDT hybrid, and that was that. She and Havok are now back on the same page as if nothing ever happened between them. Granted, this writer doesn't think the story should have happened anyway, but there's no denying it could've been far grander.
Yet again, Dashwood has found herself trapped in a storyline that she didn't need to be part of.
