6 Ups & 4 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (May 31)

4. Out On His Own

Following on from his loss to the three ECW icons, Moose realised that he needs to go out on his own if he hopes to achieve success. The former Grand Champion has had success as part of alliances in the past – remember that trio he was part of alongside Austin Aries and Killer Kross? That helped elevate Moose back up the card after a slight decline and even though it didn’t last all that long thanks to Double A departing the promotion, it was a great little trio for the time it was around.

The same thing can be said for his time spent teaming with The North. At first, your writer wasn’t too certain as to why they were still teaming post-Rebellion as it seemed they were only uniting to take down The Rascalz. As the weeks went by though, the alliance became more enjoyable, even if they weren’t having much success in winning matches. Now that it’s over, it gives Moose the chance to re-establish himself as a singles performer, while The North can do the same thing as a tandem.

Now, let’s just hope Moose doesn’t go around joining other guys quite yet. He needs this space.
